A Day in the Life - Thursday

As usual, Thursday begins with Loser Breakfast. This week there were only four of us, but that didn't stop us from solving world problems.

Jim said he wanted to take a trip to Lowe's and invited me to tag along. On the way, we stopped by the evil supermarket. We enjoyed our sin at this sweet little park.

Loot from Lowe's. We are going to paint both our bathrooms (if we ever agree on a paint color).

In spite of our evil eating this week, we are determined to get back on our healthy eating plan; i.e., diet. So we made a quick stop at Wal-Mart where the Smart Ones are really much less expensive than Wegman's.

Sunny, but not trribly warm.

A new section of the Canal Path. Our goal is to walk the length of the path from Newark to Macedon before winter. Friday, we will go toward Palmyra. It was a beautiful day, brisk and sunny.

We saw flora,
fauna,

and evidence of fauna. We are certain this is the hoof print of a deer. We decided , "If we believe it, it must be so".

Resting along the way.

Isnt' this a beautiful horse. He was enjoying this beautiful day too.

A little computer time.

I spent most of the evening getting ready for Friday's overnight scrapping event. I think I'm set. More about that tomorrow.

I have had such fun with this project. I've decided that I'm going to put this together in a small book and give it to my Aunt Mary. She will really get a kick out of seeing what a week in the life of one of her nieces is like.

Until tomorrow, "Hippo Hugs".

Thanks for this. I love to see what you're up to including your "evil" deeds.

Hi Pam,

Breakfast with friends is always more fun and tastes so much better, doesn't it? Of course, if one gets into political discussions, things can heat up, even among friends. Believe me, I know! LOL.

The Canal Path looks like such a lovely pathway, with so much to see. And that does look like a deer track! And I loved the horse.

Oh, my daughter goes on overnight scrapping events. She is into scrapping big time, and enjoys those over niters. Your Aunt Mary will love the small book of pictures and mementos, I'm sure. I love the ones my daughter gives me.

Well, I enjoyed this episode of A Day in the Life. Always love your pictures, and your fun excursions. Have a wonderful week. Now I hope I can post this without too much trouble.

Hugs,

Renie

One question....what was in the white bags from the evil supermarket? I know it had to be something good like doughnuts! LOL Can you tell I haven't had breakfast yet?

What an interesting and fun post! Those mornings out for breakfast look like great "girl" time!

Your pics were great, too!!! As always!!!
