Wednesday in the Life of Hippochick

I'm afraid I wasn't really on the ball with my picture taking on Wednesday. I guess I was just so involved in what I was doing, I forgot the pics.

The first sight I had when I came downstairs was my poor scarecrow, blown over on the sidewalk.

I decided it was time to wear my "harvest socks". I love fancy socks.

It started out cold and rainy, and continued cold and rainy. I had to turn on the heat in my car at 8:45 when I left home to pick up my friend, Jane.

Jane and I went to Starbucks for coffee. She had never been to Starbucks! We had a really delightful time which included a pumpkin muffin for me and a blueberry scone for her. We were so wrapped up in our conversation that I forgot to take a picture. As the kids say, "My bad!"

After I dropped Jane off at home, I went on to Wegman's where they can't seem to decide which season it is.

I just needed a few items.

While I was out, I thought I might as well take advantage of Michael's 40% off coupon. I bought a new Thanksgiving stamp.

Since I'm going out tonight, we decided to have dinner for lunch.

Tonight was our monthly stamping workshop. Tonight, we're making Christmas cards. Here are just a few that Joy, our demonstrator, has made.

And these are the cards we made. I love the turkey. I think I'll make place cards for the Thanksgiving dinner table. Won't that be cute?

I am really, really having fun with this project. Tomorrow is another day. Hope you all have sweet dreams.

Once Halloween is over I can't wait to bust out the Thanksgiving! I even have a turkey & scarecrow airblown! (not easy to find).

My cats like to beat up my porchkids. Your scarecrow can count himself lucky he doesn't live at my house!

Love the socks! I have a thing for socks, as well. Rarely wear socks, though, excpet at Christmastime.

Loved the cards you made! That Santa one was cute and also the turkey one caught my eye! You are just so clever!!!
