The H**ks are coming!

In just a little over an hour, our dear friends the H**ks will be arriving at McCarren International Airport. We are really excited. You remember the H**ks, don't you. If not, here is a little reminder

This picture was taken last year at Lake Las Vegas when they visited us. BTW, Lake Las Vegas has turned into a virtual ghost town. The economy really hit this resort hard. Two of the three golf courses have closed, the casino and one hotel have closed and houses are sitting empty. What a shame.

We have lots of fun things on the agenda for their stay. We have tickets to see Terry Fator. We plan to hike some, take a day trip, have lots of good food, and of course, LAUGH. We seem to do a lot of that when we are together. Linda and I may even have to hit some penny slot machines.

Stay tuned for updates and pictures.

I had a dream about Mr. Haak last night. Strange! I was back in high school and had to see him about chemistry homework I was missing. He gave me an assignment of reading a particular chapter. I was worried because I had to tell him that I didn't have a textbook and he didn't have one for me either. Oddly, I never even took chemistry in high school. Think I'm feeling guilty about it or something? lol
Hope you all have lots of fun. Donkey basketball here tonight.

Have a great visit!

I passed along a virtual Easter Basket to you. It supports a great cause.

Have a wonderful time with your friends!!! Sounds like you have a real good variety of things to do with them!

I'm still praying for Bruce and Shelly. Glad that she is through her chemo and on the mend and hope that Bruce starts to pick up the pace a little more with his recovery. They have been through so much!

The Joseph play looks like it was fabulous! What great support from the parents and staff to put together such a good play! I would have enjoyed it too!!!!
